This month we will gather to perform a ceremony to bless our land and home. Working together will create powerful energy of cleansing, healing, and blessing for the land and spirits who share our space.
Please bring any items that are meaningful to you and feel connected to where you live. They can be items from both inside and outside your home. Some examples: rocks, leaves, twigs/branches, photos of your family who live with you, small statues or art that are in your home, shells, etc.
Create a space and gather your items around you for the ceremony we will perform together. You can do this either inside or out, weather permiting.
If it's not possible to gather items from outside, you can create a "proxy" item to serve in the ceremony. A proxy can be anything that serves as a representation of the place, space, or thing you wish to bring into the ceremony. You can have a proxy for your land with some soil, a proxy for your home with a monopoly piece that is a home, or a painting, or a crystal. Whatever you deem as the proxy and hold your intention that it is so will do. the trick.
Please have a candle and something to smudge the space with. My favorites are Palo Santo or White Sage. Both are easy to find in a health food store or even a bookshop. Use whichever feels most aligned and to your liking. I like to use white candles in particular for blessing a space.
